BPD to Honor Fallen Officers at Ceremony

As part of National Police Memorial Month, the Beaumont Police Department will conduct a memorial ceremony in honor of law enforcement officers from Southeast Texas who have been killed in the line of duty. The ceremony takes place on Wednesday, May 7, at 9 a.m. on the front steps of the Beaumont Police Station, 255 College Street in Beaumont. There will be a musical tribute and comments from local dignitaries. Refreshments will be provided by the 100 Club of Southeast Texas. The event is free and open to the public.
