CORRECTION: On 8/15/19 at approximately 1:40 PM, the Narcotics and Gun Unit of the Port Arthur Police Department executed a search warrant at 1021 West 13th St. at Prince Hall Village Apartments. During the search, two stolen firearms were recovered, along with crack cocaine, ecstasy pills and a large amount of marijuana. One of the guns recovered, an AK 47 had been stolen during a home burglary within the City of Port Arthur. The other stolen firearm, a 9 mm pistol was confirmed to be stolen from the City of Orange, during an auto burglary. Four individuals were arrested during this search warrant and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. (The Narcotics and Gun Unit did not post this. The police department would like to acknowledge the error of calling the stolen AK47, an assault rifle. We would like to clarify, it is not select-fire.)

Thank you for posting this. People already think the community survey part of the census is a scam and just throw them away. They don’t realize the importance of the census.

You should probably specify “illegal guns”, lest you be accused of trying to take everyone’s guns. Some folks see conspiracy in everything.
Wow, it would be scary to find out that that was going on in ones neighborhood.
