Burglary Call Leads to Arrest- 4000 Block of Maida
On Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 4:37 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to an apartment in the 4000 block of Maida in reference to a burglary. The victim reported that 5 televisions were stolen from the apartment. While the Officer was taking the report, he was notified of a recent “for sale” post on Facebook Marketplace, listing 5 tvs matching the description of the ones stolen in this case. Additionally, the victim was contacted by someone who believed that they had purchased one of the stolen tvs earlier in the day. From information obtained through the investigation, it was learned that the person selling the stolen tvs, was doing so from an apartment in the same complex. A burglary unit Detective obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s apartment and he was taken into custody. The suspect was identified as Terrence Jones, a 38 year old Beaumont resident. A search of the apartment revealed the victim’s 4 other televisions. At this time, Jones was arrested and charged for Theft/possession of stolen property, pending the completion of the investigation for a possible upgraded Burglary charge. ... See MoreSee Less
I like these posts. First, it tells us what crime is happening near us. Secondly, it shows the hard work the department has done. Lastly, it shows us who was arrested and makes me more conscience about people around me.

Why did he crap away his second chance some people just don't know what to do without having somebody tell them what to do this is a shame I'm praying for his family you know their hearts have got to be broken
Novan Anderson well he killed my brother and God don't sleep never wish nothing bad but when god give us second chances we need to be greatful now like I said from the beginning one black man dead and another one back in the pin so black lives matter y'all get it yet and all along the game was set like that, give him a handshake give him another chance, now he's going back. From my Tina because I miss my brother every day
That is one way of getting back were you are comfortable. Not all People want to be free. Life in Prison is structured.
Bye Boy! Enjoy your next stint back in the Pen. 🤷♀️
Bonds set today totaling over $400,000.00 for all charges.
Any word as to whether or not this is the same person that was driving by pointing a gun in Dowlen West on Sunday?
Now throw away the key
This is EXACTLY why we dont need to take ANY guns away from law abiding citizens. Just like those illegal drugs in his car, if a felon can get a gun, all Americans should be able to legally purchase whatever gun they want. The government will never be able to keep them out of the hands of criminals.
Well he gonna be gone for w min if not life depends on what his first felony was far
A swinging door he goes yeah he goes in/out he goes in gets OUT Same person same offenses this is why the system is so screwed up my bad covid 19 worse Hello Guns areAnd he's jacked up on drugs!!!
He always had a smile on his face except for this picture. In TDC he used to tell everybody if nobody put they hands on you that you shouldn't put your hands on them. He really was a great dude. Free him for real. I'm serious too. He had my back in TDC too. He fed me before. He's innocent I know
He needs to wipe that smirk off of his face. Looks like he's proud of what he did! smh
FYI you have not been indicted yet
Just can’t fix stupid!! Jail must be a wonderful place!!
Smh told him the streets ain't what it is..smh
I heard the gunshots too
Apparently, he didn't learn a lesson.

I had the honor of supervising Conrad on 3rd Watch when he was a young officer. Such an honorable and decent man, great team member, and solid cop. A great loss.

Convict Karen strikes again
Ruth Bader Ginsburg?
Angela Reyes this is not jennifer hamilton and it's a shame that you would even do this because you know it's not her too and so does Dustin. For them to properly co parent it's kinda hard when you are doing this to her, to the mother of his child. If she was on all this government assistance like you say then why does she work 40 hours a week and I see how hard she works and how tired she is when she picks up arya from me babysitting. She is having to work extra hours to make ends meet because he doesn't pay child support and doesn't have a job. She has done nothing but take care of her children as a mother should.
Take that Thug off the street!
BPD Burglary Unit Detectives are reviewing cases, now that they have returned to regular duty, following emergency operations during Hurricane Laura.
Since last Monday, BPD has received close to 50 commercial & residential burglary reports. Unfortunately, we tend to see an increase in property crimes during evacuation and natural disaster situations, as criminals take the opportunity to prey on others.
BPD did make several arrests during the declared state of disaster, including burglary and theft of firearms. It’s also important to note that certain crimes carry an enhanced charge when committed during this time (TX penal code 12.50).
We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the importance of making sure that you have proper documentation on all of your valuable items. Electronics, appliances, jewelry, lawn equipment, firearms, recreational vehicles, power tools, etc. are the items most commonly stolen during thefts/burglaries. Pictures, receipts and MOST IMPORTANTLY, serial/vin numbers are crucial when it comes to the successful investigation of these cases.
Please take time to evaluate your documentation records and update them often! Send the pictures and inventory information in an email to yourself, so that you can easily access it if needed for insurance or police reports. ... See MoreSee Less
Yep, I learned thus 30 years ago while living in Beaumont. Even then citizens were encouraged to mark and document all valuables. I've never forgotten. Still do this now. Love my Beaumont TX.
Thank you for your hard work!! Wish we had had a curfew in place the whole time and even now still with people still without power.
Unfortunately My home and neighbors were hit hope y'all catch every single one of them max penalties
Prayers for all of you. In 2011 when the Tornado s hit here, we lost everything. People were driving over downed lines trying to take stuff from our yard, home and buildings. It was a sad time. God Bless all of you. BPD STRONG 🚔🚔🚔🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
