The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the publics assistance in locating a missing person – welfare concern.

Deputies are searching for 23 year old George Frank Finne. Finne is approximately 5’10” tall and around 155 lbs. He has brown hair, blue eyes, a light moustache and a small goatee. He was last known to be wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and black Nike tennis shoes.

His last known contact was to his mother on July 4, 2020 using the phone at the Express Mart at Beauxart Garden and Hwy 69 in Nederland, Texas. He advised his mother that he was walking to Beaumont.

Sometime overnight between July 8, 2020 and July 9, 2020, unknown suspect(s) entered Oak Bluff Memorial Park (618 Block) and stole an estimated 40 brass fixtures used for displaying flowers at a loved ones gravesite.

The suspect(s) dumped the flowers, some of which contained American flags, on the ground prior to stealing the fixtures.

I am so upset!! Someone stole my Dad's vase! What kind of sick, twisted individual does this? I pray they are found, but I doubt it. Happened to my mom's headstone years ago!

I want to thank Det. Thompson for speaking with me and for all the effort he is putting in to try and find the culprits. He was as disgusted as me about the situation. I so appreciate PNPD for doing all they can to catch these evil thieves!
