This week Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers needs your help locating possible cell phone video of a homicide.
On May 23, 2015, around 4:52 p.m., Beaumont Police Officers responded to a shooting at Magnolia Park located at Weiss and Magnolia. Three people suffered gunshot injuries. Thaddeus Papillion received a minor gunshot wound to the arm. John Corbin was taken to a local hospital and died later from gunshot wounds. Adrian Dwayne Guidry was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses identified Michael Jason Green and Desmond Nixon as the shooters at the park. Michael Green has pleaded guilty and serving a 35 year sentence for his part in the crime.
Desmond Nixon is still awaiting trial for the shooting.
Prosecutors and Detectives have received information that a witness may have videoed the incident on their cell phone. Officers and prosecutors are seeking the video or information leading to the recovery of the video, if one exists.
