This Week Crime Stoppers needs your help solving a Burglary and Credit Card Abuse case that occurred in Sour Lake, Texas.
On Wednesday, August 6, 2014 around 8:45am, an unknown black male knocked on an elder lady’s door in Sour Lake and asked for directions. He entered the residence while she went to retrieve a map and he was gone when she returned.
Later that afternoon, the victim’s son called to let her know he received alerts for fraudulent charges on her debit card. The victim checked and could not find her wallet.
Officers found video footage of a man using the stolen card at King’s Supermarket on Highway 105 in Bevil Oaks at 9:18am shortly after he took the wallet. He is described as approximately 6’0 tall, 250 to 275 lbs and approximately 30 to 40 years of age. He was driving a white, Chevy Monte Carlo.
The stolen card was used again at 1:30pm that same day by two black females and a black male in a blue Dodge Durango at Sunshine Convenient Store on Concord, in Beaumont, Texas.
